About Me

Kendell was born and raised in San Diego, California where she grew up skateboarding, surfing and dancing. As the captain of her high school's varsity dance team, Kendell led her team to victory at nationals and gained the love and respect of her peers through her strong leadership abilities. Her favorite part of dance was performing shows at retirement homes and leading her high school's Dancing with the Teachers fundraiser performance where all the proceeds went to Stand Up to Cancer. She loves animals and volunteered at Hellen Woodward Animal Center as well as the Escondido Humane Society.  Kendell is very passionate about promoting the implementation of better foreign language programs in California primary and secondary schools. When she isn't working to pursue her career as a news reporter, you can find her at the dog park, skating down the boardwalk or roaming the aisles of Trader Joe's!
